*UPDATE* I can’t thank you all enough for everything. Cody has gotten everything he needs to have Dirty registered and to keep them together. Since the first LFEBridge was such a success, I would now like to see if we could get them off of the streets and into a permanent place. We are currently working with the Homeless Assistance Team in Roanoke to find them housing. We are also working to get his social security benefits back so he can have some sort of income. I would like to get them into a hotel for at least a month to give us some time to get everything into place. If you could please share to see what we can continue to do for these two to get them somewhere before it starts to get cold it would be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you all for your kindness and support ❤️ Most of you know or have seen Cody and his dog, Dirty around Roanoke. Cody could be in danger of losing Dirty, who is his emotional support animal. Dirty could be in danger of losing his life. Cody and Dirty live on the streets but are devoted to each other. If Cody loses Dirty, he will have lost the only thing he holds dear in his life. Because Dirty bit someone Cody has been required by the court to cover him with insurance. It's quoted at $1600 for the insurance and to be registered as “dangerous”. He has a court date Aug 14 at which time Dirty could be taken away if Cody hasn't complied. This Go Fund me is to help purchase the insurance and registration that is required. Any amount is so appreciated and Thank You to those of you who help Cody & Dirty. I've met some of you and your kindness has amazed me. If you know Dirty please post comments of your experiences with him. I've seen him to be of a gentle and humble nature and he's enjoyed attention and belly rubs from strangers in the grocery store.
