I am starting this LFEBridge for my dear friend Holly and her 5 amazing children who lost their husband and father suddenly this past week. Anyone who knows Peter Thompson, or his beautiful wife Holly, love them!! Peter loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sharing his favorites spots with those closest to him. He loved to coach the soccer teams of his kids and has blessed the lives of many youth of our community through the years. He also had a great gift for gourmet cooking and was not stingy with his talents. I hope you all can think of a time your got to taste one of his delectable creations. My favorite thing about Peter (and his whole family), was his incredible servant heart. He was so kind and recognized the needs of others around them. Their family put up Christmas lights every winter for my mother after my dad passed away. It was such a tender gift because it’s something that my dad used to do and it was too much for my mother to get to. It warmed my mother’s heart every time she drove home and saw her lights. I often think of them when I see Christmas lights even now. We are so saddened by the sudden passing of this great man. It has been quite a shock and has left the family dealing with the surprise, the grief, but also the unexpected expenses of his passing.
