As some may already know, I rescued Penelope last week. Her previous owner up and moved without her.. leaving her in a super hot house to fend for herself :( my landlord bought the property and wasn't able to trap her so I went over and thankfully was able to catch her. She's been to the vet and had all of her vaccines and whatnot however she has a pretty big tumor on her back left leg that will need removed. The vet gave her some antibiotics last week to get some of the swelling down, however today I noticed it's now starting to break open; it has 3 open wounds on it that look incredibly painful. The vet said this tumor will definitely need surgically removed (and most likely sooner than later now that it's breaking open) I always hate asking for help financially, but am hoping I can raise some funds for the tumor removal. I've not went over pricing or anything with the vet yet as we're planning on doing this at her checkup on August 7th so the amount on this LFEBridge will most likely change (either to a lesser amount or higher, however any remaining balance left over after her surgery will be put towards her previous vet visit: vaccines, antibiotics, eye medicine, fiv/felv test) Any amount of donation, large or small, will help Penelope out! Melissa Edit to add: I did have the vet listed (Animal Care Hospital) with the option to pay on the account however after speaking with the clinic today they said this is not allowed :( it would have to be me calling to make a payment, no one else would be able to call in a payment :( sorry guys, I tried :'(
