Michael Thomas, Class of 1977 Lincoln High School and member of the Omega Psi Phi Upsilon Theta Chapter of Lamar University Fraternity gained his wings on 07/16/2024 after a long battle with diabetes. He dedicated his life to his children Amber and Mike and his granddaughter Jade. His illness had taken a toll on his body resulting in vision loss and most recently his leg was amputated and has not been able to work. Mike raised his kids as a single parent and provided for them and always put them first. Mike fought to the end and his daughter Amber was there every step of the way as his caregiver. His children are devasted by Mike’s loss and are not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. Mike will be cremated, and they want to give him the memorial he deserves to honor him and say their last goodbyes. Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help. They are in need to raise 7,500 to cover the cost of the cremation for Mike. The funds will be received by Amber Thomas, (daughter)
