Hello my name is Michael Mane and I have created this fundraiser to help this young man get to Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. Aston James Pagawak is a Papuan student who attended a small school in the highlands along with his brother and sister. They worked and paid their way through more than 10 years of education. Aston has lost both parents and is the youngest in his family. His dream is to attend Toccoa Falls College this coming school year and he is almost there. Aston has had very little support in this, in fact, the person who was supposed to be his father figure, has instead told Aston and his brother that this is impossible and they will fail. Aston has decided to trust God instead. He has applied, gotten accepted, been granted scholarships, and paid for his first plane ticket out of the jungle and into the city of Jayapura Papua. Aston has gotten his bank account, his ID card, his passport, and his first plane ticket. Let's see if we can help get him through these next steps in the process. Aston has also started a pig business with his brother at home to help support him through school. Aston needs to make it from Papua to Jakarta before he misses his Visa interview next week. Once his visa is granted he will need to get on a plane to the United States, move into the dorm at TFC, and begin orientation in the Fall. Aston plans to study Bible and sustainable living at TFC before returning to Papua as a missionary to serve his people. Let's be a part of what God does next.
