I am Ryan Hildebrandt, third son of William Hildebrandt. My father was known to most as Jeff. His personality always lit up the room. His ideas were always grand, and his love for his family, infinite. Unfortunately, my father passed, leaving my mother, Jennifer, and my two brothers Jeremy and Chris to pick up the weight of the world that my father carried. He was a great man, someone who was driven by the love of his family. He deserves a dignified service, where his remains can become one with the Earth, once and for all. We truthfully want to have a funeral pyre, but do not have access to the land up in Crestone needed to set up the pyre legally. With the pyre being too logistically difficult, we have opted to place my father in a water cremation. Water Cremation is an environmentally friendly way to allow a body to return to the Earth. Still, being new and relatively rare in the modern funeral industry, the price tag is a burden for our family to achieve. We want our father to be honored in a way that allows him to be seen every day. My mother Jennifer, has always had the most beautiful green thumb, and this service would allow her to water her precious plants with the sweet liquid of love. Each plant would be fertilized and supported by our father's remains. Each flower that blossomed would then be a small reflection of my father's deep love for each of us. Please help us honor our Papa. The wish is that even Papa's surviving grandchildren would have a chance to water their favorite plant in Grandmama's home, each allowed to have a special moment with their dear Papa one last time. We are thankful for the support we have already received but need just a little more help. We are reaching out to our human family to honor one of the most beautiful humans we will ever have the pleasure of knowing. We are all human beings being human, and a little help goes a long way. Thank you for your consideration, condolences, and donations. We are grateful for each and everyone one of you. Thank you for being here in our time of need.
