It is with profound sadness that we say farewell to our friend - beautiful, smart, funny, and lovable Pamela S. Joell “Pam”. She brought joy to everyone she knew with her vivacious and energetic nature, and was steadfastly dedicated to the betterment of others and the world.A native New Yorker, Pam worked her way into the lives of hundreds of friends and young people between New York and Connecticut becoming our parent, sister, friend, mentor and a force of love that drove many of us to our full potential.  Pam with love and care changed lives and in the process helping to create a better world for all of us. Over the last several years Pam quietly and privately battled serious and lingering health issues which impacted her employment status and her financial resources resulting in the loss of her long-term job (along with benefits and insurance).  Despite all of this Pam's loving and giving nature was there right until the end. Her last wonderful deed was donating her organs so others could have a chance at a better life. Pam is survived directly by her daughter Amber, who was the love of her life!   For Amber, I am asking for your support and prayers. The need for both is great as we put our arms around her and help her thru this most difficult time.  Amber at 24 is now faced with not only the pain and suffering of saying goodbye to her mother, but is also faced with paying for funeral expenses, legal fees, as well as all the other costs that are stacking up due to this tragic loss. We have started this fund to assist Amber during this time. Any amount would truly help as Amber fights their way through the grieving process and manages her way through this hardship.   A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 7th at the Cremation Society of New Jersey, 470 Colfax Ave, Clifton, NJ – [phone redacted].  All are invited and welcome.
