I have been given the amazing opportunity to go on a school expedition to Cambodia, Asia, for four weeks, in July 2025. Cambodia is one of the world’s poorest countries, so your donations would enable me to help make life changing differences to the people who live there. I will do this by working with local people in their communities on vital projects, such as; constructing water storage facilities; assisting with building repairs on community buildings and schools whilst learning about Cambodian culture and heritage. I will also be learning and taking part in environmental project work and local marine conservation which is something I am very excited about and have always had a passion for. It is such a lot of money to raise, so I am starting early! Over the next two years I plan to fundraise by washing cars, making and selling dog biscuits, doing sponsored events like hiking The Yorkshire Three Peaks, running, holding club tuck-shops along with any other fund-raising events that I can set up in the time I have.
