Please help support Gordon and Dean who were left without parents this past June. My dear friend Orna, and her 2 children Gordon and Dean, lost their husband and father to cancer 5 years ago. Tragically, this past June, Orna also lost her battle against cancer, and passed away within 6 months of her diagnosis. The 2 boys are left without parents, and with very little family, mostly far away in Israel. None are able to support or care for them, and the boys will need to fend for themselves. Gordon, 21, will complete his last year of college this year, and has been given guardianship of his younger brother Dean. Dean, 16, has one more year of highschool, and aspires to go to college following that. The boys have suddenly been left with a load of practical responsibilities, in addition to the challenge of having lost both parents. Needless to say, they will need help. As a community in Brooklyn, NY, we are hoping to help them with some financial stability at this time, until they are able to finish their education and work. The money we are raising will go towards funding food, rent, living expenses, and college tuition for both boys. If you are able to contribute to their well being, and make their adjustment to losing both parents a little bit easier, any help would be greatly appreciated.
