GA Church is thrilled to relaunch Open Arms Preschool this fall! Our new director, Lisa, is working hard with our team to get things ready for a great new year. In order to get the preschool ready for the kids there are a number of things needed: 1) New Kitchen Playset 2) New Rug As a church community, we hope to collectively help the preschool that is so important to our church, and our mission. We are grateful for your support! About Open Arms Preschool: OAPS is a school founded on the philosophy that play is a child's vehicle for learning. We view learning as a natural and ongoing process, occurring as we interact with our environment, and we view each child as an individual who develops and discovers in their own ways. Building meaningful relationships between teacher and child, and among other children, is central to the work we do. About GA Church: Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are a Christian community dedicated to growing the personal faith of our members, strengthening the support and connection between our members and becoming a religious resource in our urban neighborhood surroundings. GA thrives through a foundation of service to Christ and a commitment to spiritual development and outreach.
