Hi, My name is Jennifer Hernandez with 3J Farms OK here in Blanchard, OK. I have been selected for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with the Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Program based out of OSU. This is a 2-year program August 2024-February 2025 that will cover all facets of agriculture throughout the state of Oklahoma as well as a week-long trip to our nation's capital Washington DC, and a grand finale 2-week trip to an international destination (yet to be determined). "The Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Program assists potential leaders to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and of people. This includes personal and group study and interaction, improving skills in communications, and developing a commitment to future leadership roles in Oklahoma agriculture. We help potential leaders develop a better understanding of the various systems of economics and government. Program participants increase and utilize their own knowledge and skills in order to solve problems and to explore opportunities for Oklahoma agriculture." OSU Website I am beyond excited to join in on this adventure and represent Oklahoma Agriculture in this program. However, as you can imagine there are some hefty costs associated with a program like this, so I am coming to you for help. I am asking that you help me cover the tuition costs of the program ($2,000), as well as some of the additional travel expenses that are not covered by the tuition ($3,000).
