The Newfoundland & Labrador Band Association (NLBA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and advocate for wind bands across the province. In an effort to celebrate student success in band, the NLBA has established a scholarship for a grade 12 band student, from any region of Newfoundland and Labrador, who exemplifies dedication to their band program. The successful applicant should display leadership, a degree of proficiency, and a genuine “love for band”. Applicants must: (1) Be a member of their school concert band, jazz band, symphonic band, or wind ensemble. (2) Have enroled, or Intend to enrol, in a post-secondary program, in any area, after graduating from high school. (3) Complete the application found here: COMING SOON! The NLBA welcomes donations of any amount to the NLBA Band Student Scholarship Fund for graduates of the 2024-2024 school year.
