Nikki Scott was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy due to complications at birth which lead to her needing extensive full-time care throughout her life. Nikki would be turning 50 on July 19th. Her Mother and Father, Debra and Tom Scott, have lovingly cared for her all of these years. Nikki is currently in the ICU at the University of Utah hospital. Because of the wonderful care of her parents, she has outlived the life expectancy for many people with similar ailments. In the past few days, her conditions has worsened and they have placed her on hospice and comfort care for your final days. She has been surrounded by her loving family during this time and we have appreciated all the love and support from family and friends. Nikki has always exceeded the expectations of doctors in her life. Our family truly did not expect this time to come when it did. While going through the loss of another child, Tom and Debbie are faced with medical bills and funeral expenses. This page has been created to help Tom and Debbie during these difficult times to relieve some of these financial burdens. These would include medical expenses, funeral costs, and Nikki’s transportation to Malad, Idaho where Nikki will be laid to rest near her two brothers.
