Komo Collective is seeking funding support for their up-and-coming short, NIGHT GLANCES. The Project: NIGHT GLANCES is a coming-of-age piece about a group of young adults leaving school to go to college. Focusing on best friends, Nicole and Erika, and their unspoken love. Over the course of one substance-fueled night, they navigate the confusion of their withheld feelings, gendered dynamics and Nicole’s fear that the future will set the group on different paths. The Team: Komo Collective is a filmmaker collective made up of writer/director Sarah Ahern, producer/sound artist & composer Kieran Sheridan, Director Of Photography Anna O’Carroll and Editor Tom Pierce. Each member of the collective has over ten years of experience within the film industry. NIGHT GLANCES will be Komo Collective’s second project together. Their first film, LATE BLOOMERS, a queer coming-of-age piece featuring Liadh Ho and Evanne Kilgallon, will have its premiere at the GAZE Film Festival in August 2024. How you can help: A self-funded short, your donation can help us by going towards much needed production costs! This is our second project as a collective and your support would mean the world to us, no matter how big or small, every bit helps. We would love if you could include your name so that we can thank you in the credits. Besides making a contribution, you can help this film get funded by sharing the campaign with your friends on social networks. Check out our page on Instagram or share this LFEBridge on social media! You can see stills from our previous work LATE BLOOMERS here. We look forward to showing you what we do next.
