Welcome to the fundraising page for our exciting new playground extension in Nun's Cross. We have always been blessed with superb outdoor space, which all children who attend Nun's Cross enjoy regularly. It is filled with a wide variety of flora and fauna, and the children enjoy its many nooks and crannies. As we embark on our last and final classroom addition to our school, we must sacrifice some of our outdoor space. We are so very grateful to a local landowner who has recently gifted the school half an acre of land, which will easily replace the green space we are losing and add additional outdoor space to our school. While we are so very grateful for this generous gift, anything we do with it from here on out will be at our own expense - and that is not cheap! We have a very generous and skilled community in our school who have stepped forward with offers of help in many different areas, saving us thousands of euros. However, there is no escaping the fact that we still need to raise cash for materials. Our first expense is to fence the area so the children can get into our new space and enjoy it as soon as possible. We have funds raised last year by our school community via our fantastic Parents Association, but it is not enough to cover the bill. We are calling on you for financial support to raise the balance. Please spread the word and help us to get the area fenced before the children return to school in late August! We thank you in advance for your support!
