On July 24th, 2024, the unthinkable happened when our sweet Natashia Luce, at just 31-years-old, was in a tragic car accident as she made her way to work on Hwy 26 in Portland. The car rolled multiple times and she was ejected from the vehicle sustaining critical injuries. She was rushed to Legacy Emmanuel Hospital, but unfortunately has had no brain activity since her arrival. It is with heavy hearts and much sadness that we share that our sweet Tashia will soon pass. In one final beautiful act that is so perfectly Tashia, she will be donating her organs per previously shared wishes. Doctors have begun the organ donation process and are keeping her stable until transplants can happen. As heartbreaking as this has been for her family, there is some comfort in knowing that she will be giving the gift of life to others. It is a perfect picture of the kind and generous heart that she always had. Natashia worked as a vet assistant and according to co-workers, they "never had a VA that had so much love and compassion for her patients and empathy for their people”. It was the perfect career for someone who loved unicorns and had such a big heart. In addition to countless family members (mother, father, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins...) who are heartbroken over this loss, Natashia is leaving behind her fiancee Jimmy Rosacker and their beautiful 3-year-old twin boys Liam and Wyatt. Jimmy and Tashia met five years ago and had gotten engaged less than two weeks before her accident. The tragedy of Jimmy and these boys losing their wonderful partner and mother so suddenly will leave emotional ripples for a long time to come and alongside all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it can also bring financial burdens. We would like to raise money for Tashia's family and children to help with looming unknown hospital bills, funeral expenses and potential on-going needs resulting from a sudden change in income. While we cannot lessen the emotional journey this family has to navigate, we are hoping you will join us in raising funds to help ease a little piece of the financial burden. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated - every little bit helps. Please keep Natashia's family in your prayers. Thank you in advance for your loving kindness during this difficult time. Link to Meal Train: https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/nvg806
