Hello family and friends! The music program at Princeton High School has offered our Natalie an incredible opportunity - to join with other select band and choir students to go on a two-week trip through Europe next July 2024! As you may already know, Natalie has an absolute passion for music. She plays the flute in band and pep band, has weekly piano lessons and has even dabbled in some self-taught guitar and ukulele! She’s twice earned her placement in the school’s highest-level choir and had several chorus parts in the last two high school musicals. In addition to her school-related music endeavors, she is a youth group leader at church, where she can be found worshiping on stage through song and I could go on and on! But alas, we are here to humbly ask if you will contribute with us to provide this experience for her. In addition to her love of all things music, Natalie is a hard worker, and the value of earning your way is not lost on her. She plays volleyball almost year-round, has worked at McDonald’s since last summer, and even with a job, driver’s ed and all her activities, still finished her sophomore year on the A honor roll! She is a huge help in our home, volunteers at church and has a wonderful family for whom she babysits as well. So this is just one of the ways we’re trying to raise funds. There is talk of a garage sale and Scentsy party, there will be a Pampered Chef party in the fall, and on that note, she would also love to whip up some homemade baked goods to sell! So if this LFEBridge thing isn't your jam, or you're not in a place to contribute, that is OK! If there is a different way you would like to help, financially or otherwise, please reach out to me! We’re grateful for any type of support and she’s always looking for opportunities to babysit, bake or just help where she is needed. Maybe you’d like to clean out a closet to donate to the garage sale? We’ll take you up on that too! Here is my schpeal about this trip and what you’d be supporting…We were literally given a children's book-size brochure, so this is a VERY abbreviated version of what she will be up to: Through The Ambassadors of Music Program, she and her classmates will visit and explore England, France, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria, over 15 days! For each visit, they have an itinerary filled with attractions and historical sites to tour, as well as room to roam and experience a variety of cultures and authentic cuisine. Just a few of the stops include: Windsor Castle, The Eiffel Tower, The Matterhorn, the Dachau Concentration Camp, and the Vienna State Opera House. That is literally just the tip of the iceberg! In addition to all of this touring - they of course will be performing throughout the trip! A couple of passages from the brochure about that – "Our student performers will step onto some of the world’s grandest stages, in ancient churches, pristine parks and beautiful town squares. In the smaller towns we visit, our performances become heartwarming events, with locals and their families attending and welcoming us into their communities.” “Exploring these new locales as part of a group of musicians invites students into a unique exchange – they bring music to share with new faces and leave filled with broadened horizons and appreciation for new cultures…” We are beyond words excited and grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Natalie. If I could make it to just one of these countries for a day, it would be a dream come true! Our last ask, and most importantly, is for your prayers that Natalie will be on that flight next July, and to bless everyone involved with a safe and memorable experience! Thank you for your contribution, be it financial, other, by thought and prayer, or all of the above! With our sincere gratitude – Adam, Tracy and Natalie
