Hi, my name is Simon Emge and I am raising money to help replace personal items that were lost to my teachers because of a tornado on June 22, 2024. Many items in the flooded classrooms are cool things the teachers provide for us out of their own money- and are not covered by the insurance the school will get. The teachers at Northridge Elementary are are the coolest and nicest teachers I have ever had. They make learning fun, and I really like going to school every day (when it is not summer!) I am going to be in 4th grade next year, so trust me- I know good teachers when I see them! I am making chakra necklaces for this fundraiser. I learned all about how to do this at my school last year during something called Buisiness Day. All the 3rd graders created and marketed a product then sold them on a special day. We used fake money for this- but I sold out of all the necklaces I made for that event! I hope I will sell out again! I am asking for a minimum of $10 donation to recieve a necklace, but any amount is really appreciated! A family friendly local brewery called Living the Dream (12305 N Dumont Way, Littleton, CO 80125) has offered to host my fundraiser on Saturday, July 8th at 1:30pm to sell the necklaces. I am sorry, I cannot ship anything. Please consider making a donation even if you cannot attend my event. I am just a 9 year old kid- but if there is one think my school and family has taught me - it's that even one kid can make a difference! I hope you will consider helping me reach my goal by the time school starts here in Douglas County, Colorado on August 8th! Fox31 news Evan Kruegel was so cool an told my story- you can see it here: https://kdvr.com/news/local/northridge-elementary-student-selling-necklaces-to-help-teachers-recover-from-tornado/
