Hello- My name is Shannon. This is the tragic story of my daughter Kristen, Riley {her husband) Kyleigha (KK), and their unborn baby. Sunday, our family was struck with unimaginable tragedy as we lost three beloved members in just 24 days. It all began on June 16th when Kristen and Kyleigha experienced the heartbreaking loss of Kristens grandfather, who was also a great-grandfather to Kyleigha. And now, as if our pain couldn't get any worse, Sunday, my husband and I received a devastating phone call from our son-in-law, Riley. Upon returning home, Riley was met with the devastating news from Kyleigha that mommy was in the bathroom and had accidentally hit her head and wont get up. Sadly, Kristen had already passed away several hours before. This news came as a shock, as just the day before, Riley and Kristen were brimming with joy at a family wedding, knowing that they were expecting their first baby together after months of fertility treatments. The abruptness of this tragedy has left us all in utter disbelief and agony. The pain we feel is indescribable, and we are trying to navigate through grief and unimaginable loss. The circumstances surrounding Kristen's passing have only added to our sorrow, making it even more challenging to comprehend. During this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out to seek support and assistance. Financially, this tragedy has left Riley and Kyleigha in a tough position. With their income significantly reduced and the devastation of losing Kristen, they find themselves unable to maintain their home. Unfortunately, Kristen did not have life insurance. Moreover, Riley and Kyleigha will undoubtedly require counseling to help them cope with their immeasurable loss of Kristen, the baby and the adjustments they now face. All donations received will be utilized to address any outstanding debts, providing Riley and Kyleigha with a solid foundation as they embark on a new life following this tragic event and assisting them in navigating through the profound loss they have endured. Furthermore, if there are surplus funds beyond these immediate needs, they will be set aside in a trust for Kyleigha, serving as an everlasting tribute to honor Kristen's love and unwavering spirit.
