Hey all, my name is Ralph. And I'm a CODA(child of deaf adult) of two deaf parents. I'm raising funds for my mother who recently passed away of cancer. My mom was an amazing woman who was creative, adventurous, and joyful. She loved traveling, one of her goals was to touch all 50 states in the US. She loved to sew and draw, she was even learning how to use a blowtorch in her artwork! A couple of years ago my mom was diagnosed with stage 2 cervical cancer, it was hard but we pushed through it and fought hard with chemo/radiation. We shut it down and put it in remission. Two months ago, we noticed something wasn't right, my mother was really sick. I brought her to the ER immediately. We found out she had an issue with her bowel and needed emergency surgery that night! Within a moments notice my mom was being wheeled off prepped for surgery. We thought surgery was a success.. There were more complications, more symptoms kept coming up. One step forward 3 steps back. We found out there was cancer in her intestine, and we later found cancerous fluids in her lungs. It hasn't even been two months since we walked together into the hospital, and here I walk out alone. I'm grateful for you taking the time to even read this. It's a lot to take in, it happened so fast. Any donations made would go towards medical bills, funeral costs, and burial site. My family and I would be thankful for any and all donations.
