Hello y'all, My name is Oscar and I'm originally from Spain but I've lived in the USA for the last 11 years working as a Profesional ballet dancer and teacher for different companies. For the last 7 years I've worked and lived in Memphis, and that is where I adopted Waffle 7 years ago now. Waffle was always a very special boy since we soon discovered he was a Distemper survivor and had to deal with brain seizures daily and many other health issues derived from this disease. Visits to the ER and Vet appointments and treatments have always been a challenge economically for us but we managed with extra work and sometimes the help of very good friends. As I'm turning 30yo this summer I've decided that it was time for me to come back home and move closer to my family and take care of my mental health. I have been part heartbroken to leave my life in Memphis, part excited to start a new life and take my Waffle and his brother Pancake with me, where I know they are gonna be very happy and gonna have so many new friends. I never imagined this decision was gonna just be the beginning of the big challenge that was gonna be moving a big dog to Europe For the last few months I researched, called and tried to contact every airline trying to find one that was gonna allow us to fly. It's been impossible. Sadly traveling with big Pets in planes is currently not possible in 2024. ( apparently the few airlines that used to do dogs in cargo also stopped doing this during the pandemic and haven't reopened those options, like Delta) Waffle is currently 81 pounds and he is over all weight limits of every airline that currently flies from USA to Europe. The only option that is left for us is using a private Pet transportation company that would take care of the relocation of Waffle to Spain but this option is really not affordable. It's gonna cost me about 5000 dollars just for him. Plus other Vet costs and paperwork that he needs. Please please please, if you can help with some of this cost we will be forever grateful. Waffle and I have kept each other alive for the last 7 years and I couldn't imagine my life without my boys. Anything helps even if you can just share this go fund me it will be appreciated. THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM: Waffle, Pancake and Oscar
