Moose is a 14-week-old Saint Bernard who has a birth defect called a liver shunt. He has a vein that diverts blood from his liver right back into the bloodstream. Because the liver does not filter out the toxins, they are in his bloodstream and affecting his neurological function. This includes seizures, balance issues, disorientation, trouble going up one step, muscle weakness and frequent urination. The fix is surgery to fix the liver shunt but it is very expensive. Moose does not have medical insurance as he was in the waiting period and they will not cover anything. The funds will be used for Moose's Vet bills Please give this awesome puppy with a gentle nature a fighting chance. Any help is appreciated.
