As many of you may know, my mother Monica Bedoya has recently passed away at the age of 53. Born in Ecuador, growing up in Canada, Monica was a beautiful individual with a beautiful smile, kind, sweet, loving, giving person whom had lost her way. Unfortunately she struggled with the stress of life which lead her down the wrong path. At the time of her passing she left behind an ill father whom at the current time is struggling in the hospital, brother & sister, niece, nephews and 3 children. The only closure we have at the moment, is that she has been reunited with her mother. We didn't know how to help her then but this is our way of trying to helping her now, by giving us an opportunity to say a formal good bye to a mother, daughter, sister, and friend. This wasn't something our family thought would happen anytime soon or something that we had time to prepare for. In light of the circumstances we have no choice but to plead to those who know us and ask if you or anyone can help us give her a proper send off. Her children decided to started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost funeral expenses as we are starting at absolute zero. As unfortunately either her children nor her family aren’t prepared for the high cost of a funeral. During this difficult time, we are asking our community, extended family and friends for help. We would greatly and forever appreciate any or such thought and consideration to contribute to such a difficult heartbreaking moment in our lives. Thank you for reading… Please donate or share or pray for better days God Bless UPDATE: I would like to say how grateful and thankful I am for the abundance of love, support, and guidance I’ve received thus far. My siblings and I are beyond appreciative of it all during these rough times. I also wanted to share the results of her autopsy with everyone, as we didn't know much when her body was found. The coroner's office confirmed my mother’s passing was due to liver disease Some may be aware, some may not, but my mom struggled with alcohol addiction, It was unfortunately her way of dealing with emotional & mental stress. Alcoholism is a serious and dangerous illness. Let’s talk about how serious any sort of addiction is and how much it can take from so many and how painful it is for all those involved. Let's move with kindness and understand and promote wellness like self-love, etc. Let's find and share organizations that help and inspire! Let's help prevent more unnecessary losses. Share my mothers story to help someone in need of a reality check. Let’s us pray for those in need and those lost but never forgotten ***I can’t emphasize enough how thankful we are for the continuous support***
