Hi! This is Courtney, Ryan and Landon. During 2024 we created and accomplished the Catalina to Huntington Beach Paddling with a Purpose to help raise awareness and funds for A Better Chance and Feeding America during a time of need. We enjoyed the process, inspiration and success that our paddle created for those foundations so much that it inspired us to want to do more. So here we are getting ready to venture on TWO more paddles! This time it will be for A Walk on Water and The Ben Carlson Memorial and Scholarship Foundation. Paddle #1 The Molokai to Oahu Paddle Paddle #2 Catalina to Newport Beach We understand it is late in the game for the Molokai to Oahu paddle to get donations going, however, we would appreciate your support to help us on our paddle and in raising funds for one of our favorite foundations A Walk on Water and our newest foundation The Ben Carlson Memorial and Scholarship Foundation. What is A Walk on Water? A Walk on Water was established in 2012 and has been serving thousands of children with unique needs and their families through transformative Surf Therapy. AWOW Surf Therapy is uniquely built on the concept of including the entire family in a connection to the healing powers of the ocean and our natural world. By creating positive, uplifting, and empowering experiences, we are rewriting the expectation of what “therapy” can be. The three of us have all been Surf Therapists for AWOW for many years. We love the levity, joy, empowerment and connection it brings to all our athletes and their families. So we would really appreciate your support and we know they will too. You can help impact these children through your support. What is The Ben Carlson Foundation? The Ben Carlson Memorial & Scholarship Foundation was formed to leverage Ben Carlson's legacy by doing positive work in his memory. Taking into consideration the things that truly mattered to Ben, your donations will proudly support our objectives of Safety and Scholarships. Since 2014 the foundation has provided over $250,000 in college Scholarships to over twenty outstanding students across the United States to support their continued education.
