Over the 4th of July weekend our rescue assisted the River Rouge Animal Shelter by taking in 7 very neglected Shih Tzu’s. Six of them are seniors. One is missing majority of his little foot. Two are cryptorchid and will require internal surgery to neuter. Two require mammary tumor removal. One will need an enucleation ( eye removal). One requires an inquinal hernia repair. All require extensive dentals - two require full mouth extractions. This is in addition to our standard vetting protocols. We are estimating the medical care for these sweet souls to exceed $7000. All donations will go directly towards the medical care of these seven sweet babies. Thank you, Michigan Yorkie Rescue.
