Michael Diamond, of Rowayton, CT and London, England, sadly passed away on July 13th, 2024, after a year-long battle with cancer at the age of 57. His final wish was in lieu of flowers for people to contribute donations to support underprivileged students at NYU, where he served as Academic Director of the Integrated Marketing and Communications course. He is survived by his loving wife Amy, children Cordelia, Oliver, and Leo, parents Angela and Tony, brother Trevor, and sister Judy. Michael's kindness, generosity, and wisdom lifted the spirits of everyone around him. He approached life with fervor, embracing experiences and culture with his wife Amy. A dedicated father, he instilled compassion and kindness in his children. A passionate reader and sailor, he seized opportunities to enjoy life to the fullest. Academically accomplished, he studied at prestigious institutions such as Oxford, Yale and LBS, and excelled in diverse fields. From theater management to consulting and a career at Time Warner, he left a lasting impact. Returning to academia, he became Academic Director at NYU and taught at Baruch College and Yale's School of Drama. How you can contribute: Donations: Every dollar you contribute will provide someone with the opportunity to attend NYU, which they would not have had otherwise. Michael firmly believed in the transformative power of education, and your support would have meant the world to him. Instead of sending flowers, please consider making a donation. Emotional support: The Diamond family is currently enduring indescribable pain. Your messages and kind words will bring them immense solace during this difficult time. On behalf of the grieving Diamond family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your love and support.
