UPDATE: The bench has been designed and is being created by Rome Monuments. It will be done in a light grey granite with black lettering. We have found its place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery which is where Susanne always walked with her precious dogs. It will be available for all to sit and share some fond Susanne memories in approximately 8 months. The cost was $3,012. As many of you know, we lost a one-of-a-kind woman in June of 2024. Susanne touched so many lives in her short time on this earth. She was often seen walking her dogs in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Susanne loved talking with anyone and made many friends by welcoming all that she saw. She had a way of making you feel like you were special. Not only did she love her dogs, she loved all animals, especially birds. When Susanne passed, she had her body donated to science. We would like to purchase a special bench in her honor to be placed at the cemetery where she always walked. In this way, she will still be gracing the cemetery, enjoying nature, listening to her birds, and still be able to watch over her friends.
