It is with very hearts that we announce the very sudden passing of Michael “Mikey” Banks. Sadly Michael was involved in a motorcycle accident and was taken from us this past Saturday evening. Michael was first and foremost an amazing father. His kids meant the absolute world to him and he put them above everything else. He was also a loving brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. Michael was one of the hardest working men you’d ever come across without any complaints. He was also always extremely generous with those he cared about. Anyone who knew Michael personally knew he was a born thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie. He lived life to the absolute fullest and was always unapologetically himself. Michael had a difficult life from a very young age and he carried a lot of heaviness in his heart. But regardless of what life had dealt him he always made an effort to right his wrongs and to be a good man. And he truly was a good man. He had the biggest heart of gold, he’d give those he loved the shirt off his back in an instant without hesitation. And despite the pain he carried through life he fought and managed to keep the pieces together for those whom he loved. The only solace we have is knowing that the pain and suffering is no more and his slate has been wiped clean. As he met face to face with our Lord and Savior on Saturday July 29, 2024. He now gets to spend eternity in paradise with his beloved parents whom he missed so dearly. Michael leaves behind his wonderful wife, Raquel and children, Corey, Bryan, Jessalyn, Quinton, and Sofia. If you find it in your hearts to donate anything at all toward his memorial services it would be greatly appreciated by his family during this difficult time.
