Our mother Martha Garcia was tragically taken from us Sunday when an SUV driver took a left turn attempting to get into her own driveway when she hit mom and her life partner James on their motorocycle. It was daylight, it was clear, no one was under any influence. They went out on a ride to see friends and get coffee. They were expert, safe and experienced bikers and doing nothing wrong. She died doing what she loved which was being with James on the back of his Harley and being the free spirit that she was; she was most free on their bike.Unfortuntately we were unable to assign benefits directly from any insurance to the funeral and will have to wait quite a while to have assistance in this matter.We are looking for help to cover cost of final expenses. Anything that may be left over will go to helping my brothers, her partner James and I with the expenses of traveling and time off as we grieve and mourn the loss of our mother and soul mate.
