Just a few weeks ago Mark became unwell and started to lose weight and Cancer was found, whilst undergoing all the testing that followed ready to start Chemo Mark became increasingly unwell and in a matter of 3 weeks he was told they would treat the cancer to their being nothing more that could be done as the cancer had spread to fast. Mark came home on the Wednesday 28th June with the intent on being able to enjoy his life to the full with friends and family in the little time he had. Sadly Mark didnt get this time and his fight ended on Monday 3rd July surrounded by his close family. We have lost a true gentleman. We at The Black Deer Loughton want to help and support Marks family as much as we can, We want to help them give Mark the send off he truly deserves and allow them all to take time away from work to be able to grieve. Mark would be the first person to offer help when it was needed, he was the first person to buy a round of drinks, he would make a stranger feel welcome. Mark would be the one to turn a frown into a smile with a joke or story to tell. We would appreciate any amount that you can give for tor this remarkable man.
