My name is Graham Wright, and I'm the Head Organiser of the "Mark Savage Memorial Trophy 2024". In loving memory of my best friend, Mark Savage, who sadly passed away last June, we at Fully-Licensed Storage Solutions in Burgess Hill, where Mark was a co-owner of the business have organised a small-sided adult football tournament to take place on Saturday 15th July, 2024 at the Burgess Hill Academy 3G sports facility. This is a not-for-profit local community event in Mark's name where all proceeds received on this donation page will go straight to Knight Support (www.knightsupport.org.uk). Mark's family were passionate about Knight Support being the nominated charity to receive online donations, and proceeds from all other event-related fundraising activities. Knight Support has helped hundreds of homeless people in Brighton and Hove. The city has one of the largest numbers of homeless and rough sleepers in the country and Knight Support is dedicated to helping those in need. They also help and support people in emergency accommodation with basic living supplies in surrounding areas such as Mid-Sussex and beyond. Our Outreach Service, in partnership with other charitable organisations, currently provides clothing, toiletries and food to the homeless community in Brighton and Hove. This dedicated donation page has been set-up for anyone that is unable to attend the Mark Savage Memorial Trophy and donate in other ways live at our event - but would still like to donate in Mark's name and help support this amazing, hard-working charity and their dedicated volunteer team.
