Mark Marony, loving father and husband, passed away at home on July 18th, 2024. My father was the definition of warmth. He was smart, funny, and - most importantly - kind. He was the mayor of every town/store/room/dump he walked into. He was a provider and protector for our little family, and we are genuinely at a loss for how to continue life without him. My dad loved tinkering, woodworking, and listening to hours of Phish while working in the garden. He loved solving problems around the house. As of recently he was considered a handyman by trade, but his true love was education. He was a beautiful writer, and he loved reading obscure philosophical books that would easily put me to sleep. He struggled with sobriety for a majority of his life, but never allowed it to affect the love and care he showed for myself and my siblings. Towards the end, he was actively seeking sobriety, we just ran out of time. During this transitional period in our lives, I am asking for any and all help to ensure that my little siblings [Ethan (18), Aidan (15), Ava (12)] and stepmom, Jess are cared for. Anything that you can help contribute will help cover remaining medical bills, burial costs, and setting up a new life without my dad. Thank you. Katie
