Hi, my name is Anthony Capetillo and I'm here today to share a story about my mother Maria Delia Capetillo Lopez Del Villar. She was checked into the hospital on June 11th, 2024 during my dad's birthday. As my parents got to the ER and waited to be received my mom started hyperventilating and lost all her breath. Since then she's been on breathing support and heavily sedated. As days passed by her condition got worse and doctors were unsure what was causing her so much pain, they came to the conclusion it was cancer at one point which caught my family off guard because almost a year ago she beat cancer and was still taking small doses of chemotherapy while her doctor at another hospital said she was still cancer free. That said every day that passed by her condition got worse and my family and I feared the worse. On Wednesday afternoon of July 12th, I received the news that my best friend, my confidant, and my mother passed away. Currently, I don't know how to feel at the moment but I do feel like a part of me was taken from me. I'm here asking for help not for myself but for my family as they need all the help they can get. If you reading this and know me or know someone who knows me, I don't ask for much help but I'm asking now just this once to help my family with the funeral cost and to help my dad in any way that I know he's currently hurting but acting strong for my brother and I.
