A Scholarship in Remembrance of Linda Williams-Brown It is an honor to request your support for our efforts to award scholarship(s) in memory of our beloved Linda Williams-Brown. A native of Rocky Mount, NC, Linda was a devoted wife, mother and accomplished professional. Always striving for high achievement she developed clinical skills as a licensed occupational therapist and later was promoted to clinical director of a community rehabilitation hospital in Rocky Mount. Linda died on November 7, 2024, and with her death, our hearts were broken. Those of us who loved Linda recognized the profound impact she had on her family, Delta Sisters, church members, lifelong friends, colleagues, Howard University and her local community. We cherish the positive impact that she had on our lives and would love to celebrate her legacy of accomplishment through this scholarship fund. As her fellow sisters of the Extrinsic 27 line of Alpha Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (initiated at Howard University in 1978), we would like to encourage you to join us in donating to this scholarship. The scholarship(s) will benefit a high school student(s) from Rocky Mount, NC who attends Linda’s church and who exhibits her reverence for knowledge as well as shows the promise of reaching exceptional achievement along with public service to the local community. We invite you to spread the word through social media concerning our effort and to join our attempt to pay a fitting tribute to our sister and her profound zeal for life. We will conclude our campaign on April 1, 2024 and hope to provide as many $1000-$1,500 scholarships as possible to the deserving students of Rocky Mount. Thank you in advance, Extrinsic 27
