Hi! My name is Tony, if you don't know me. I'm an Actor Singer Funny guy. I do musical theatre when someone hires me. hahaha. After living in NYC for 22 years I moved back home (thanks pandemic) to the southwest. It has been a nice change. The biggest change other than the weather the culture and well the city...is I'm a dog dad to a beautiful German shepherd Paco! I love animals and always have. In my next life, I want to run a haven for unwanted dogs. Which brings me to my LFEBridge story. One day I was driving Paco to the dog park when I saw a dog crossing a busy street and almost got hit. I pulled over and called him to me and he came and I opened the back door and he jumped in with Paco. So Buddy, that's what I named him, came home and has been a part of our lives for the last 4 months. It's been rough and fun. Not always easy(Paco and Buddy have had fights, and growing pains of two dogs getting to know each other) He came to us skinny with scratches and scars on him but with the sweetest face and soul. It has been wonderful watching him bond with Paco and he has really gotten close to me. He cuddles and sleeps with me. Follows me around to make sure I don't leave. When I got to work he and Paco keep each other company. They are good together but I can also see they like their alone time. I knew I couldn't keep buddy because of my living situation so i've tried to rehome him in the past to no avail. But now I have a gig starting October 3rd and I'll be taking Paco with me for two months but need to find Buddy a home. And I did! In BOSTON! My friend Tom wants a dog like him and will take him. I know Tom will love him and spoil him like I have and Buddy will be following Tom around and cuddling with him and loving him back in no time. Tom will be his human. And I wanted to find a home with a friend or family so I can keep tabs on him cuz it's going to be hard to let go. But it's gonna take money and time to do this so i'm asking for help. So for my birthday i'm asking friends and family and anyone who loves dogs like I do to please help. It will take time and money to do this. I have to options. One is I hire a company to do this and get him to Tom in Boston or the 2nd is I rent a car and drive across the country to Boston over labor day weekend, my Birthday is Septermber 5th, get hotels on the way and get him to Tom personally and so I can say goodbye. (i'm leaning towards the 2nd one because I need to say goodbye) I would need to get the rental. hotels. gas. food. and a flight back. You get it. I've never done a LFEBridge but I figure if everyone on my Insta and Facebook would donate a buck i'd make my goal. Any of the money I don't use I'd donate to the Arizona humane society where they helped me when I first got Paco. I hope this doesn't offend anyone. I'm just trying to give Buddy a happy life and continue his stability with someone who will love him and give him that. thank you thank you tony and buddy!
