Hey guys. I'm Aspen. This lovely lady you see in the picture is my best friend's mother. Laurie was an amazing, caring, sweet, funny, and energetic woman who would go to the ends of the earth for anyone who needed her help (even when she didn't know them). She spent her entire life making sure everyone around her was surrounded by light and love. Laurie went in for a routine endoscopy after finding out she had a very aggressive form of uterine cancer and unfortunately had some complications, passing very suddenly. After a hard fight, she went home to Heaven, leaving her equally amazing and loving daughter Felicia and granddaughter Anastasia behind utterly devastated. The passing was completely unexpected and now we are reaching out to the community for help. We are asking anyone who can find it in their heart to donate whatever is possible so that we can give her a proper homegoing. The money that is donated will be used to cover medical costs, funeral, cremation, and an urn for her daughter so that she will never be without her mother again.
