I don't think I've ever seen my sister (Angela) love something as much as she loves her 2 cats - Athena and Larry. Unfortunately, Larry mysteriously fractured both of his femoral heads (probably from falling off of the mantel when we was napping) and needs surgery. She is flying all the way from Seattle to Denver for the surgery. Thanks to some veterinary friends in Denver, we are able to reduce the surgery costs to just $5,000 from $10,000 but we still need your help. (Side note - how crazy it is that surgery on a cat is $10K?!) I think this year has been difficult for so many of us. Angela and Jason have had their own health issues and personal medical bills. This unexpected expense is putting a huge financial strain on them and its my hope we can all pull together as much as we can to help relive that pressure, even if just a little bit.
