La Reyna y La Real have been fighting hard to earn their place in this world for 10 years. Now is their time! Yadira Pintado (La Real) and Reyna Hernandez (La Reyna) are two friends who met at a Rap Competition in 2010 and joined forces in 2013 to become La Reyna y La Real, a powerful Afro-Latina Rap Duo that released their first album in 2017. Due to the complex economic situation these two women face and international politics that have affected many talented musicians like them in their country, they have never been able to tour with their complete band until now. And having released their newest single Duras just 2 months ago, now is the perfect time. This week La Reyna y La Real received visas for their entire band of 7 and their manager, to tour Europe for 6 weeks. They have 17 confirmed gigs and several meetings scheduled with booking agents hoping to secure potential contracts, a producer and future work. THIS IS HUGE!!! And they are all elated! But it is also a huge expense and though they will be paid for each show, many of the shows will depend on ticket sales, so no payment is guaranteed. The total cost of flights, visas, hotels, transportation and food for the entire group for the 6 weeks, we are estimating on a very tight and well-managed budget, comes to USD 24,000. So here we are, humbly asking for your help to get these amazing musicians to Europe. To give La Reyna y La Real the first real chance at getting their music to a larger audience.
