Hi! My name is Ginny. I was a public school teacher for 9 years. I loved my job. I loved my students, but over time I started to realize that the system is broken. I started out wanting to teach in public schools, believing that I should go out into the darkness and shine light. I saw private schools as bottling up Jesus for the wealthy, and I wanted nothing to do with that. I wanted to help all students, rich or poor. But what I started to realize is that here is only so much you can do in darkness to shine light when you can't speak the name of Jesus. I started to realize that the public school system was the basket over my lamp. Our kids are starving for truth. They need guidance and hope. We can help them, but we have to come together. That's why I've started a nonprofit. We haven't been approved by the IRS, but we are working on it! My goal is to provide a private Christian education to children who would otherwise not be able to afford it. God's already provided the location, the chairs, tables, Smart Boards, many supplies, and an army of people who are willing to help! Now, we need money. I need to be able to pay teachers and staff, buy a computer for each room, buy books and more. I am praying that one day the money for education will follow the child, but until then, will you partner with me to ensure our kids get not only an education, but spiritual guidance as well? Kingdom of Christ Academy -Teaching a Kingdom mindset in a fallen world. Mathew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. The Mission: My mission is to be salt and light to the earth. To seek and save that which is lost by sharing the good news of Christ Jesus our Lord and savior. I never want to bottle up Jesus and keep him away from people. I don’t want to be lukewarm or passive in doing His work. I want to share, with everyone, what He has done for me. Our faith is not something that should have to be checked at the door, in order to receive and education. We don’t just turn it off. Our faith in Jesus is the very fabric of who we are. The way our current education system works, only the wealthy can afford to send their children to a Christian school. Only the wealthy have access to education that teaches the knowledge of how to live according to the Word of God. I want Jesus accessible to all, always. I want to reach the poor, save the lost, and provide hope to the hopeless. I want to see small community schools pop up all over this nation providing an education yes, but more importantly providing hope, love, and encouragement to a dark and hopeless generation. I want to see parents empowered by schools to take back their God given authority! I want to see parents saying enough is enough, you will not teach my children that what is evil is good and good is evil. I want to see discipline brought back to schools. I want to see children and teachers praying together, worshipping together, and seeking God together in schools all over this nation. I want to see God’s people be set apart for His glory! Let the world see the truth. Let the world see our light. The church is not perfect, but we are called to be higher, to be set apart, to be a shining city on a hill. I want to see the church teaching our children. Thank you for your time and consideration! Please pray and if you can, give. Blessings, Ginny
