Our youth program was initiated and developed by a founding member of the group 'Hitmission' Records out of Richmond, Virginia; of whom the group was responsible for the record deal signings of Mr. Chris 'Breezy' Brown of Tappahannock, Virginia to JIVE/RCA Records (c2004) and Mr. Tremaine 'Trey Songz' Neverson of Petersburg, Virginia signed to Atlantic Records (c2005) , via our production partner Mr. Troy Taylor of Atlanta, GA. Currently, we are raising funds for our new learning center for kids; as our old one was torn down and displaced to build a new gas station/mart (WAWA), tobacco shop, and other. We were hardly given any notice (just 15 days) and have since had a hard time finding an affordable and suitable office space for our kids program and equipment. pic of office demolition beginning and my upset and disheveled look. We remain humbly grateful for those of you that choose to give to worthwhile and verifiable organizations like ours, every year, as we help young people and people in need; and we DO what we SAY we will do with the donations; we are verifiable, we are transparent, and we have PROVEN results setting young people up for grand success (as with the aforementioned A list entertainers we sponsored and got started in the business). [email redacted] After many years of working extra jobs, and generous people donating; we were able to make the dreams of Chris Breezy and others a reality. We are hoping we can count on you in 2024; to help the next young person be the next great entertainer, nurse, engineer, you name it !!! A few of our donors can ask to visit or call our learning center; of which your donation helps to sponsor; and perhaps listen to some of the music the kids make, or see the math/science remedial work the kids produce and other. Some fortunate donors can be present when we display the kids musical works to A-List entertainers we are associated with, in the industry (C. Brown, J.Foxx, S. Harvey, and more). Additionally, our entry level donors will have their name printed on a laminated scroll or chart that will be hanging up on our walls for all to see and for our youth to appreciate the donors' generosity. For all of our most generous donors (GOLD and PLATINUM LEVEL); their names will be engraved on a bronze or brass metal and oak wood plaque hanging up in our building, for all to see as well. A permanent and lasting legacy!!! But we haven't given up on our kids! And you, the donor, are every bit of our grand hope to continue. Now, a little about our program and mission. Our program teaches the kids: Math/Science/STEM tutoring (after school and on weekends); thereby keeping kids off the street and doing constructive things. We also offer conflict resolution, character development with the PILLARS of CHARACTER UNIT, foreign language (Spanish and Chinese), investing in stocks, options, forex, and crypto, the game of chess, proper meal planning and nutrition, business/office casual dress, tie a bow tie/tie, how to treat and respond to women (men), other appropriate social interactions. The biggest draw and incentive for the kids is when we teach them how to sing, write and produce music using the industry standards (ie protools, sampletank, midi boards, fruity loops, etc). If they are really good....we send their projects over to the management of people we know in the music industry. ( A listers like C Breezy, and J Foxx). One young man got Chris to guest appear on three tracks for his solo album. Shout out TJ Allen! see pic Learning Center (Below) So far we have secured: 25 desktop computers; 30 chairs and tables; 25 computer mouse and pads; electrical equipment; mixing board, protools and other music software and more. Your donations help to bless the kids even more. A little about us...... Back in 2004, a single mother (J.Hawkins) brought her talented son to a group of men from Richmond, Virginia, that included a school teacher and coach (C. Jenkins), a '20 something' songwriting phenome at the keyboard/piano (L.Fleming), a former member of Luther Vandross' group "CHANGE" and former A&R of Jive Records (T. ALLEN), an A&R of Def Jam/Universal Music Group (T.Davis) and a local School Teacher/Security Guard/and Deejay (J. Owens). The collective was known as Hitmission Records out of Richmond, Virginia, and T.Davis was the A&R from Island/Def Jam who approved of the artist they brought to her and helped get that artist to Jive/RCA records via Mr. T.Allen. (Chris Breezy's) father gave us a tape at a gas station he worked at in Tappahannock, Virginia, a small town outside of Richmond. We signed both the rapper and the singer on that mixtape. That singer turned out to be Chris Breezy Brown and yes we 'DISCOVERED' and got him signed to his major record deal with Jive/RCA. That was all of our hard work and our donors gifts at work!!! Our group pooled their resources of time, money, talent, and energy and managed to help launch the career of 11+ more young people, with the biggest discovery among them being Mr. Chris Breezy Brown of Tappahanock, Virginia. see pic with our founder Jerome Jay Owens and Chris Breezy Browns mom (c 2024 at the 11:11 concert) L.Fleming of Hitmission Records wrote and produced Chris Brown's demo record "Whose Girl Is That" and the last song on Chris Browns Debut album on Jive/RCA "Thank You", of which the album sold "Diamond" or 20 times platinum. Multi-Platinum songwriter and producer Lamont Fleming (TWIN OF LEGENDZ Productions) will still be tabbed to write the songs and help guide the young people in performing. Mr. Owens is a financial member of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Upsilon Nu Chapter in Richmond, Virginia (3rd District). He has connections to celebrities Steven Broderick Harvey and Mr. Matthew Knowles (Pop Star Beyonce's Father). Both men are QUES! Your funds will go to all operational expenses to include the office building/prospective learning center (which is located next to a major supermarket and cellphone retailer). We must remember that it took a Village of people and others to make us who we are today! Many of us are now settled and established through opportunities and blessings given to us in our youth.
