Dear Friends, Join the talent show online and enjoy the rich performances of the children. Date: August 18th Time: 4pm- 6pm Where: meet.google.com/crb-nzgp-rzu - you need a google account to be able to join! Support KCE with your contribution. With everyone's help, we have already been able to raise 15,000 euro towards the establishment of a Technology Center for the students at KCE. The efforts continue towards our new goal of 36,000 euro for not only the Technology Center but also the establishment of the Secondary School Dharma and Research Library. If we exceed the goal, we are supporting the running operational costs of the boarding school, as well as the ongoing construction of the secondary school dormitories and facility rooms. Some examples of running costs: Student's monthly costs - 80 euro Teacher's monthly salary - 250 -400 euro Caregiver's monthly salary - 180-200 euro Technology Center Needs 15K total: 10 computers 1 projector Tables and chairs School Books Salary of Teacher A Smartboard Secondary School Dharma and Research Library needs 21K total: Library furniture - 10K Buddhist Kangyur and Tengyur (Tibetan Texts in traditional Pecha format) - 4K Resources for Secondary School - 5K Teacher Resources - 2K KCE provides free education to the children of the Himalayas. The completion and maintenance of the Karmapa Center of Education relies entirely on the generous support of friends who share our vision. All support – whether a one-time donation or an ongoing pledge – is welcome. Even a modest amount of 5 USD/Euro can help guarantee the sustainability of the education center.
