Hi my name it Brittney and I am raising money to help ease the financial burden of funeral arrangements and cremation of John. Friday July 21 after a day of fishing John suffered from a stroke. He was taken to Kenora hospital and then airlifted to Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg for treatment and care. We had hope for John to pull through as Sunday July 23 he was making progress with a bit of responses, minor talking and the ability to squeeze hands. However Sunday night John took a turn for the worse and his brain started to swell and another stroke started. After emergency CT scans the doctors did all that they could but ultimately they had no way of saving John. At 12:49 pm Monday July 24th with his family by his side the decision to take his oxygen off and let it take its course, by 1 pm John took his last breath. Financially John and Michelle had just gotten by living pay cheque to pay cheque. This has become a very sudden loss for all of us and as we try to continue on without our rock! I ask of you to please donate in any way. All proceeds will go to help pay for cremation and a celebration of life for John. Any extra will be to help Michelle get through the hardest times! Celebration of life will be held at the assiniboine downs August 13th at 1 pm. Graveside burial with close friends and family will follow August 15th. Thank you we appreciate anything!
