It is with a heavy heart that I bring the news of my Mother's passing. On July 16th, surrounded by friends and family, Jodi Anne Wood left behind the pain and struggles of her battle with cancer. Though she was faced with overwhelming hardships during this time, she was always in good spirits and brave as she underwent various treatments. Her sense of humor and playfulness shone through the darkness that cancer brings. She will be truly missed by all that loved her and we are so thankful that she is now at rest. Since her diagnosis in the fall of 2024, she received an overwhelming amount of love and support from all the communities that she participated in. Her departure from this world will leave a meaningful impact on all of those that knew her. She was so thankful for all of her friends, co-workers, and acquaintances that reached out and helped her journey be as smooth as possible. Jodi planned to have a party on her 1 year anniversary of her diagnosis (October 17th). In place of traditional memorial services, we found it fitting to have a Remembrance/Celebration of Life on that date. While the details are not finalized, we are planning to move forward with that date to get together and remember the fierce and amazing woman she was and is. As we move closer to that date, we will update everyone with the plan. While a fundraiser was not initially planned, we did have a few requests to open a LFEBridge so those that want to donate can. I want to personally thank everyone that reached out and visited with Jodi over the past year. My gratitude to those that brought light to my mother's eyes while bearing such terrible news cannot be expressed in words. I love you and miss you, Mom. I hope to see you again.
