Hi, my name is Jo and I need help purchasing copious amounts of peanut butter for an extended (month+) hike on the Appalachian Trail. The peanut butter will provide me sustenance during the journey. It is high-calorie, has lots of protein, and is perfect for easy eating on the go! The Appalachian Trail is approximately 2,200 miles and spans all the way from Maine to Georgia. I don’t plan to do the whole trail— I will be starting up in the northern section of the trail in early September and walking my way back down to New York. I’ll be waking up to the sunrise, hiking up and down mountains, enjoying the deciduous trees as they change color, and eating lots of peanut butter! I feel I’m supposed to say I’ll take a picture of each jar of peanut butter I buy to show you, but I know that I won’t; and you wouldn’t really care anyway….so, let’s forget all that. Anyhoozal, if you’re able to throw a little change my way, it would mean so much to me. Every donation made will go toward purchasing said peanut butter. But in all seriousness… I’m also going to need and use the funding for plenty of other equipment too! Including basics like: -Backpack -Hiking boots -Sleeping bag -Water filtration system -Water bottle -Camping cook-set -Mug/cup -Soap and hand sanitizer -Rain jacket/pants -Hiking socks, pants and tops -Bucket hat -Prescription sunglasses -Headlamp -First aid kit -Whistle -Maps -Toiletries -Batteries -Solar charging panel Just a few months ago, I probably never would have imagined doing something like this. Thank you, truly, in advance for helping make it possible. “Life’s a garden. Dig it.” ALL MY LOVE, Jo
