Hi there, My name is Jemima Ball. I’ve volunteered to be part of a group that’ll be travelling to Zanzibar, off the coast of East Africa in July 2024, for an educational trip with my school. The trip is for 9 days and whilst in Zanzibar we will help to teach in schools, play sports and help paint and build parts of the school to try and help the students there get the full education they deserve and need. Organised yearly by African Adventures, this trip offers life changing experiences for those who participate. It’s a chance to make a difference and help those living less fortunate lives. To help others. I have been fundraising for over a year to help to pay for this trip by making and selling cakes, taking part in long walk/runs, and by helping my family, friends and neighbours with little jobs around their houses and gardens. I need to raise the final £800 to fund this trip in July 2024 and to do so I’ve decided to take part in the Kew Gardens 10k on Saturday 30th March 2024. Your support will be so appreciated.
