Remember reading about Jameson? He is a BIG loveable dog with the broken leg that went on the run for 11 days in Stillwater. Durning Jameson’s time on the run, there was extensive damage to his already broken leg, and while the veterinarian thinks the leg can be saved, the bills are substantial and expected to be in excess of another $5,000; Jameson has to go in every 2 days for wound care & bandage changes. They would like to do a laser treatment on his leg to help him with pain management & help the bone heal properly. A group of us want to help his family with the vet bills – they are a sweet, young family with a baby and they ADORE their Jameo! They worked incredibly hard (even missing work) to help with sightings etc. We would greatly appreciate any donations toward his care. The best way is through this LFEBridge link that goes directly to the family. If you prefer, you can donate directly to Rivertown Animal Hospital in Stillwater MN but PLEASE tell them it is for the JAMESON FUND. This Big guy came from an abusive home in California and is terrified of most things. He was lucky enough to find a loving home with a family that will do anything for him. On July 1st he broke out of his fenced yard & went into hiding. His family started working with The Retrievers Volunteer Lost Dog Team and during his time away we only had a handful of sightings on the North Hill. On July 10th we finally received a credible sighting near the Dog Park & found out that he had been hunkering down since July 5th. We were able to safely live-trap him at 1:45am on Wed. July 12th. THANK YOU to the City of Stillwater, the Dog Park Community & all the volunteers that helped us during our searches, Drone flights, going door to door, checking cameras, letting us use property’s for feeding stations & cameras & allowing our signs. SIGNS are the reason Jameson made it home, a wonderful gentleman saw a sign!! This has been a community effort. .There were multiple puncture wounds and his broken leg had sores. He has an open wound from his hock to tarsal joint, conjunctivitis in both eyes, large wound in his leg , cuts along legs and armpits and ear infections and tons of ticks . We’ll have to bring him back every 2 days for wound care and bandage changes. Funds will go to helping our family with his bills and a GPS tracking device to keep him safe. His first visit to the Vet was 1450$. We will have visits every 2 days running 100$ as well as laser therapy which is 260$ for each treatment. Any money left over will be used as a donation to the retrievers dog rescue that helped us and so many others. We also have Venmo @cam_2199
