Hello all and thank you for reading this. My name is Andy Jones and I had the extreme pleasure of working for and with Jack Kitterman. He was a guy who could cheer you up in a low moment and motivate you when you felt defeated, not to mention his unique ability to sell just about anything to anyone. He spent most of his time doing things for other people and always watched out for his own. When he wasn’t working, he was spending time with his beautiful wife Cathy enjoying his grandkids and bragging about them daily. Jack got involved in the auto industry many moons ago and eventually followed in his father’s footsteps by working in the utility bed business. He grew a branch of Royal truck body to great success with hard work and dedication to his passion. After a long career in the business, he made the decision to hang up his hat and retire to spend the rest of his time with family and friends enjoying the fruits of his labors. Unfortunately, life in all its unfairness didn’t see the plan the same way. Jack was diagnosed with cancer just as he set off to enjoy retirement. After a fierce fight and many treatments, he found out his beautiful wife Cathy would be joining him in her own battle with cancer. Both strong-willed people with a warrior spirit they fought side by side for their health. Neither Jack nor Cathy could imagine not being there for one another and no expense was spared to save one another from this battle. Ultimately Jack leaves behind his wife, children, and grandkids but not from a lack of effort. Jack fought hard till the very end because even one more minute with his family was worth the pain and discomfort. The reality of fighting cancer with experimental treatments and medication is that it isn’t always covered and comes with a hefty out-of-pocket. The cost of fighting cancer is quite the burden for one person let alone two people at the same time. This cost has left a big gap in the retirement plan set by Jack and Cathy. In her time of need, I’m asking all of you to do what you can to help support her. Life is tuff and sometimes all you need is a little help from the people around you. Thank you for reading
