In memory of Dilipkumar Ramji Sidhpura, Dilesh and Chandni have planned to place a memorial bench facing the ocean in our hometown Vancouver as 2024 marks 20 years of our father’s passing. We hope this memorial bench can be a place for any and all of us to visit our father and honour his memory for the years to come. As a figure who always brought people together to build community, we hope this space can allow for a similar feeling of connection and togetherness. Whether it’s to watch the sunset or the ocean go by, sit in solitude, or have a chat on a hard day. This bench is open and welcome to everyone always. The ocean facing bench will be in place for 10 years by the Vancouver park board before renewal. If you feel able to support us in this project you can do so with any amount that feels comfortable for you. Dilesh and Chandni will be topping up the amount raised to get the memorial bench in place.
