Cyrus Brown passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents, Kari and Kyle, on Friday June 30, 2024. In his short life, Cyrus had a profound impact on many lives, described through Kari’s beautiful words, which you can read here on her blog: http://alightofmylife.blogspot.com/2024/07/the-gifts-of-cyrus-brown.html?m=1It has been a really difficult year for the Brown family, both financially and emotionally, as Cyrus’s steady decline resulted in many extended hospital stays and unexpected expenses. If we reach our fundraising goal, that will cover the memorial and other end-of-life expenses, which is sorely needed at this time. Any amount helps! ***UPDATE*** We reached our goal! Thank you, everyone, for your incredible generosity. Kari and Kyle have such a wonderful village. We now have raised enough funds to fully cover the cost of Cyrus's end-of-life expenses. They now have what they immediately need. Kari and Kyle plan to use any additional funds that are raised for education expenses for their family - either for the Sorin's and Eliana's college funds or for Kyle's education and training as he prepares to re-enter the workforce full-time. Kyle is seriously considering going back to school to become a respiratory therapist (RT) after all the practice Cyrus gave him. We are raising the goal to a higher number to reflect what they would hope to have for Kyle's and/or the kids' education.
