*** UPDATE*** we are humbled at the amount of support we’ve had over this awful incident and are truly grateful! We have had to increase our target as over the weekend the full scale of this attack has unfolded. Melvin has multiple dog bites and drag marks on his little body and we had to call the vet out again to him. He’s a very traumatised little boy*** Buttercup was found outside a slaughter house still in her birthing sack, she was saved and and welcomed in to the Charlie’s Place family where she should have lived out the rest of her life safely with her new family. Today (29-7-23) she was found dead in the field she should have been safe in. She had numerous bite marks on her body. Two other sheep were injured and all the other animals very traumatised. This was done by local dogs whose owners have taken no responsibility. Please can you spare anything to help buy CCTV and extra fencing. We need to keep the rest of the animals safe and stop this from happening again
